King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) Metro Station, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

As part of Riyadh’s all-new public transport system, the KAFD station is located on the edge of the King Abdullah Financial District, and serves as a major interchange between three of the city’s six new metro lines. The four-storey structure has six platforms, as well as two floors of underground parking. Adjacent buildings are accessed by skybridges, which formed part of the design scope. The building forms an essential role in providing new public space in Riyadh.

Newtecnic completed the detailed design and all construction documentation for the architectural and facade engineering for the project.

Newtecnic supervised and were responsible for the successful construction and handover of the external envelope of the project.
