Comments:
The facades of this office building comprise economic glazing floor to ceiling glazing bays, set between floor slabs.

The glazing is set away from the edge of the floor slabs in order to provide an economic method of cleaning the outside of the facade without the need for a cleaning cradle. Set on the edge of the slab is a screen which provides solar shading on the south facade, as well as providing specific protection on the north facade from early morning and afternoon sun.

The external screens comprise a diagonal support frame which is able to describe the characteristic curved form of the facade with a single panel type. Fixed aluminium louvres are set horizontally between the triangular frames, with additional diagonally-set louvres set forward of the primary louvres to provide additional shading in required in specific areas.
