Comments:
The proposal for the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Centre envisions a fluid form which emerges by the folding of the landscape’s natural topography and by the wrapping of individual functions of the Centre

Newtecnic's work is focused on making fabrication drawings of the envelope panels from information provided in a 3-D model from the architect. Panels are described as a set of components in both their developed (unrolled) form and in their assembled form.

The drawings are developed in a way that allows them to be used directly for manufacture, with digital data being used for both CNC cutting of components and for manipulation of adjustable moulding tables.
